This program calculates single-bounce capillary (SBC) focusing profile with the formulas given in the paper "Single-Bounce Monocapillaries for Focusing Synchrotron Radiation: Modeling, Measurements and Theoretical Limits", R. Huang and D. H. Bilderback; J. Synchrotron Radiation 13 (2006) 74-84. ( 1347kb). Basic approximation used in the formula development include: (1) Gaussian source (non slit source) (2) Gaussian profile of slope error blurring effect (3) Capillary ellipse profile long axis a is >> short axis b. (4) Capillary to source distance >> capillary length. (5) Small source size compared to capillary length. (6) Diffraction and interference effects are not considered.
